Shelfed runs natively on iOS and Android. It's built with React Native, so it feels at home on both platforms. A web version is on the roadmap.

Yes. Your inventory data is stored securely in the cloud using Supabase with row-level security — only you (and household members you invite) can access your items. Photos are stored in private buckets. We don't sell your data.

Take a photo of a shelf, desk, or room and the AI identifies every item in the frame simultaneously — name, brand, model, category, and description for each. You review the results and save them all in one tap.

When you add an item, the AI automatically finds the official manual, setup guide, and relevant tutorial videos for it. No more searching the web for a PDF — it's attached to the item automatically.

Before saving a new item, the AI checks your existing inventory for similar items. If it finds a likely match, it warns you so you can update the quantity instead of creating a duplicate entry.

The free plan includes a limited number of AI scans. Pro subscribers get a much higher limit. Exact numbers will be confirmed at launch.

Yes. You can create custom categories (Electronics, Furniture, Clothing, etc.) and assign items to them. Each category can have its own custom fields — for example, a Vinyl Records category might have fields for Label, Pressing, and Condition.

Long-press any item to enter selection mode, then tap additional items to select them. A batch delete button appears at the top — tap it to remove all selected items at once.

Yes — up to 5 photos per item. You can take a new photo or pick from your gallery. The first photo becomes the primary image shown in the item list.

Browsing your existing inventory works offline. Adding new items and AI features require an internet connection to sync and process.

Yes. You can invite people to your household via a share link. Once they join, they can view and add items to the shared inventory. Everyone sees the same items in real time.

Yes. You can be a member of multiple households — for example, your home and a shared office. Switch between them from the home screen to see each household's inventory separately, or view all your items at once.

Your items follow you. When you leave a household, any items you added are automatically moved to your next household (or a new personal one created for you). You never lose your data.

Pro includes: unlimited items, higher AI scan limits, receipt scanning (OCR auto-fill), PDF and CSV insurance report export, and priority support. Exact pricing will be announced at launch.

The free plan lets you add items, scan barcodes, use AI detection (limited scans), create categories and tags, track warranties, and share with household members. It's fully functional for everyday use.

Go to Settings → Insurance → Generate PDF Report (or Export CSV). The report includes all your items with photos, values, and a total — ready to hand to your insurer. This is a Pro feature.
